First Day

Today was the first day of my internship.

As part of the curriculum, I'm required to keep a detailed journal of the things I do, what I learn, how I interact with my co-workers, etc. Since I have to write these things down in a concrete journal, I figured I'd just scan the pages, and post them here, so as not to have to retype everything. I don't know how well that will work, or if anyone will actually want to read it, but hopefully a few people will. I'll also be posting images as well.

Here's my first entry:

This is where I spent most of the day.

However, I was lucky enough to get a room with a wonderful view.

I had to print labels on a spindle full of CDs.

It was a rather cool mechanism though. That's an Epson Stylus Photo R200, if anyone's wondering.

That little machine on the right side of the top shelf is the CD duplications machine. It wasn't very efficient. The printer made the labels faster than the machine burned the disk.

The fruits of my labor.
